Linda:
Boo's Porch
The night was cool, the sky clear; the blazing star streamed from Sirius to Orion as Boo said goodbye to those he loved and left behind.
With us only briefly, his selfless giving filled our lives with never ending pleasure; his big brown eyes always sparkled, knowing he was loved; and his personality never let him meet a stranger.
The Red Baron's life made an indelible imprint on each of us and his passing leaves a void never to be filled. But Boo had a calling -- a child named Logan needed a dog and Boo needed a boy ... both wanting to run and play; each needing someone to care for and love. And while we will miss the unconditional love he shared with us all, Boo knew his time on earth was over.
As we mourn our loss, the buttercups bloom and brighten the landscape; Spring brings forth a renewal of life in our little valley and the only relief for the sorrow that fills our hearts is to sit on Boo's Porch ... remembering his loving ways and beautiful brown eyes.
